Camp Randall Sports Center Replacement

In February 2024, the Wisconsin State Building Commission approved the construction of a new Football Indoor Practice Facility for UW Athletics. This new facility involves the replacement of the Camp Randall Memorial Sports Center, known as The Shell, which opened in 1954, and the 80-yard practice field in the McClain Center, which opened in 1988. The State of Wisconsin’s Department of Facilities Development hired Huffman Keel Partners to support their project management staff.
