Agrace Dementia Village

Image is of a drawing of the dementia village with a city like space that has green areas and people sitting at tables and on benches. There is a building with a sign that says theatre next to several storefronts. There are street lights glowing.

Agrace’s Dementia Village will be the first of its kind in the United States, modeled after the internationally recognized Hogeweyk Dementia Village in the Netheralands. This model creates an environment that allows residents to maintain dignity, autonomy, and a social lifestyle. The Village will include on-site housing and a variety of everyday activities that residents would participate in if they were not living with dementia. There will also be a Day Club, Theatre, Pub and Grill, and Spa where members can come to spend their days with Village residents.
