Al. Ringling Theatre
The Wisconsin Historical Society has engaged HKP for project management services at multiple properties in their portfolio. One such project is the Al Ringling Theater located in Baraboo.
This 700-seat theatre built in 1915 by Al Ringling, co-founder of the Ringling Brothers Circus, in the style of grand French opera houses. The theatre has undergone restoration many times in its history, but most recently received a large grant to restore and update many aspects of the main stage area. This project included modernizing the stage rigging and stage lighting, as well as structural modifications in the historic building to accommodate the work.
